Stainless steel (bare)
also: tumblers, tags
Bare stainless is fiber territory. The disagreement sits with diode machines: two makers list diode marking on uncoated stainless and OMTech says it cannot be done.

Notes from the pages
- Monport, OMTech and xTool all say a coated or sprayed metal surface changes the answer for CO2 and diode machines.
Fumes
Every page read treats lasering as a fume source. Match your machine's exhaust figure to an extractor on the fume and room lookup.
