Extractor sheet: airflow in both units

Fume extractor makers publish airflow in either CFM or cubic metres per hour, rarely both. This sheet converts every figure so units stop hiding the gap. 1 CFM = 1.699 m³/h.

Why the units matter

xTool's P2S page gives its built-in exhaust fan as 145 CFM. That is about 246 m³/h. xTool's AP2 page says the AP2 is designed for machines at 150 m³/h or less. Put side by side, the published P2S exhaust figure is above the published AP2 limit. xTool's AP2 FAQ makes the same kind of comparison for its P3 (238 m³/h) and says the AP2 must be paired with a duct fan when used with P3. Kerf Index has not found an xTool statement about the P2S and AP2 pairing.

Use the fume and room lookup to run this comparison for any machine on the machine sheet or for a CFM figure from a manual.
